This concrete block church was originally built by volunteers. The appearance after many years was not conducive to the respect expected for Sunday worship services. A unique feature of the exterior front is a mural of the ‘Woman at the well’, a story found in the New Testament. The Church Historical Department restored and protected the mural as part of the project. To upgrade the exterior, a new EIFS surface with articulation accenting the windows and doors was applied to the block. The interior received new finishes.
