From its inception, the client was involved with the design and development of a flower shop. The story book look and fanciful detailing invoke the romance that has grown around the exchange of flowers. The ornamented curved stair case emphasizes the form and delight of a small shop. Our cultural enjoyment of the storybook style has allowed the conversion from flower shop to another use as the building was sold.
