The structure had been abandoned many years ago left in a field to fall apart, forgotten.  The structure and cost to move and reconstruct it was donated by a South Jordan citizen.  The city of South Jordan had the structure moved and placed on new foundations. A relic of the past that helps to illustrate the lives of the settlers of this valley. This with other structures and dioramas at the Gale Center help to pass the city’s heritage on to the rising generation.
